If walking across a parking lot, climbing stairs, or getting out of bed in the morning now requires planning and willpower, you’re not alone. Many adults 45–70 reach this stage after years of “trying to live with it.”
You may have already tried:
But without a structured, progressive plan built around your joints, your history, and your goals, results are usually temporary.
Fundamental Fitness & Rehab combines therapeutic exercise, mobility work, and strength training into a clear progression. Each phase is designed to:
You don’t need to be an athlete or love the gym. Our programs are built for real people with real joint pain and busy lives.
On your consultation, we review your pain history, medical background, and movement limitations. From there, we outline a realistic plan tailored to your joints and lifestyle.
You’ll follow a structured program that blends mobility, strength, and balance work. Every session has clear instructions, demonstrations, and safety cues so you always know exactly what to do.
As your pain decreases and strength increases, your plan progresses with you. You’ll know exactly how to adjust on “bad days” vs. “good days” to keep momentum without flare-ups.
Whether you’re just starting to address chronic pain or preparing to avoid (or recover from) surgery, we have a structured option for you.

Why your first 10 minutes out of bed matter—and how to use them to reduce pain for the rest of the day.
How to build strength safely without making your knees, hips, or back feel worse in the process.
A practical checklist to discuss with your physician so you feel confident in your next step.
If you’re living with chronic joint pain, it’s normal to have questions—especially if past attempts haven’t worked the way you hoped.
No. Fundamental Fitness & Rehab is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Our programs are built on principles used in physical therapy and strength training, and are designed to complement the care you receive from your physician or physical therapist. We always encourage you to discuss any new exercise program with your healthcare provider.
Many of our clients have arthritis or have been told they may eventually need joint replacement. Our goal is to help you improve function, reduce pain, and build strength around the joint. In many cases, this can delay or even avoid surgery—and if surgery does become necessary, going in stronger typically supports better outcomes.
Most of our programs can be completed at home with minimal equipment such as a sturdy chair, light dumbbells, and resistance bands. During your consultation, we’ll help you decide what makes sense for your space and budget.
Yes. The course is delivered in a simple, step-by-step format with clear video demonstrations and written summaries. If you can click a link and play a video, you’ll be able to follow along. For 1:1 or membership options, we can also walk you through how to use everything on your first call.
Every person is different, but many people notice changes in stiffness and confidence with movement within the first 2–4 weeks when they follow the plan consistently. Sustainable joint improvement happens over weeks and months, not days—which is why our programs are designed for long-term progress, not quick fixes.
If joint pain is starting to dictate your day, a conversation is the best place to start. We’ll listen, ask questions, and give you an honest recommendation—no pressure, no hard sell.
